The National Bureau of Statistics informs that the volume of construction work:

• In the second quarter of 2026, decreased by 6.3% compared to the second quarter of 2025 (in comparable prices);

• In January-June 2026, decreased by 8.2% compared to the corresponding period of 2025 (in comparable prices).

By structural elements of the works: the 6.3% decrease in the volume of construction work in the second quarter of 2026 compared to the second quarter of 2025 (in comparable prices) is due to the decline in: maintenance and current repair works volume by 24.1%, new construction volume by 3.8%. Concurrently, the volume of other construction works (demolitions, site preparation prior to construction, etc.) and the volume of capital repair works increased by 17.7% and 9.0%, respectively.
